What is breathwork and why is everyone obsessed with it? With its origins in Pranayama, Sanskrit for “controlling the breath”, breathwork practice is all about manipulating the breath for a desired outcome. Whether you’re trying to sleep, control a panic attack or feel a bit calmer.

While breathing exercises sound simple, they can be transformative when performed properly and can even make us feel high. The way we breathe has profound effects on our mental and physical health.


Breathing techniques are tools for major transformation and healing.




Breathwork is an active meditation breathing technique that creates a heightened sense of awareness inwards. This heart centered healing practice opens you up in unexpected ways, allowing you to fell and release energy so you can just be you.


Breathwork is emotionally detoxing the body. You either sit up or lay down taking open mouth breaths inwards, hyper-oxygenating the bloodstream. This in turn stirs the second chakra, which is where many negative emotions sits. As emotions begin to stir, you exhale and begin the technique again.




Through this exercise, your body is moving stuck emotional energy, often times releasing negative energies and opening up space within to breath in new life. The whole experience gives you the opportunity to come from your most natural state, pure love.

You do breath all day, every day, without thinking about it…and that is what I’m referring to …but what I mean is conscious and controlled transformation breathing. In your session you will lie down on your back with your eyes closed, and I will guide you through the breathwork. You will breathe your way to a breakthrough and break the walls of repressed memories and feeling of inadequacy.
